Everyone defines success a little differently and it's important to consider where your definition of success stems from.
There are no right or wrong answers, your definition of success is just that - your definition. However, all too often we look at success through someone else's lens.
By taking a few minutes to intentionally consider what impacts your definition of success and what success looks like in different areas of your life, you can begin to discern which parts of your definition actually stem from your values and which parts of your definition have been shaped by others views.
Today, spend some time reviewing your definition and how that definition relates to your goals and what you are working toward in different areas of your life.
Step 1: Consider your values. How we view success, in many ways, is tied to our values and what we fundamentally view as important. Consider what is important to you. What do you want and what don’t you want at work and in areas of your personal life?
Step 2: Reflect on who and what impacts your definition of success. Sometimes our definition of success is limited to our experience, environment or someone else's vantage point. Consider what has shaped the way you think about success and how that has changed over time.
Step 3: Define what success means to you. Identify and write down your definition of success for the different areas of your life below
